Currently, B complex vitamins, saw palmetto, evening primrose and black currant oil have been shown to prevent hair loss.

  Supplements including herbal ones

Aside from vitamins, there are also supplements - meaning supplements that do not directly translate to a vitamin, such as say saw palmetto, milk thistle, omega 3 oils, and so on.

Research these carefully and take what seems to address any preventative or ongoing health concerns.

  Multivitamins are beneficial

Although there are studies that seem to indicate that taking vitamins may be of no benefit, none of these are long term enough to tell you definitively to avoid all vitamin pills.  Take a natural one daily, for protection, and in case of any deficiency.

Kombucha - the great new drink!

Packed with probiotics and nutrients, and great tasting too.

Kombucha is no longer new, with many new brands and flavors available in regular supermarkets.

Organic, hormone free dairy is best

Go for organic milk, or organic dairy alternatives such as soy milk.  The more organic, the better, especially when it comes to animals that might be otherwise consuming toxins that are passed on to you.

Organic low sugar high fructose cereals are best
Posted by: MothFree - 06-07-2019, 02:31 PM - Forum: Cereals - No Replies

Avoid anything, including cereal, that contains too much sugar.  Especially avoid manmade sweeteners such as high fructose corn syrup.

On the other hand, natural fructose, is good, and breaks down easier in the body without spiking glucose levels as much as sucrose.

  Wild fish is best

Wild fish not only tend to be higher in nutrition and less full of waste, by buying mostly wild fish you will held reduce the demand for the farmed fish that creates large sums of fish excrement that pollute the waters near these large fish raising farms.

Sun ripened fruits and vegetables - best nutrition will be in LOCAL produce
Posted by: MothFree - 06-07-2019, 02:27 PM - Forum: Fruits & Vegetables - Replies (6)

Fruits and vegetables that have spent the maximum time in the sun soaking up that vitamin imparting sunlight will contain the most nutrients.

Take an orange at the supermarket that has been pulled off the tree green and ripened in the darkness of a truck on the way to the grocer, and you may find it to contain zero vitamin C, while a tree ripened orange taken off fully ripe might be chock full of the vitamin.
